Prof. Abbas Eltayeb Babiker, a graduate of the University of Khartoum, is a professor of geography and its modern technical applications. He is interested in studies and research related to natural resource management in arid and semi-arid environments, environmental sustainability and food security, and an expert in the field of modern technical applications and artificial intelligence in environmental risk assessment. He has published and refereed with the most international academic publishing houses (sapub, scirp) with an impact factor and classified in ISI and Scopus and regional periodicals in geographical societies specialized in the field of hydrogeomorphology and ecotourism.

He has research contributions in many research projects and regional and international conferences, in addition to membership in the editorial board of many classified and specialized international journals.

He is a trainer and consultant for many service and development institutions.
