Dr. Nasr Bensalah is a Professor of Chemistry with the department of Chemistry and Earth Sciences, at College of Arts and Sciences, Qatar University. Before that, he held positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor at University of Gabes in Tunisia. He received his PhD in Chemistry in 2002 from University of Monastir, Tunisia. His research interests are focused on the applications of electrochemical technologies for energy storage, water treatment, and chemical analysis. Prof. Bensalah received several internal and external grants to develop research in the field of electrochemistry. He supervised 12 MSc-students and 9 PhD- students.

Dr. M. Imran Khan is a Full Professor of Energy and Environmental Engineering at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, with over 17 years of experience spanning industry, academia, and research. Dr. Khan’s expertise lies in developing and implementing sustainable solutions across the energy sector, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring environmental compliance. Dr. Khan’s research takes an interdisciplinary approach, integrating engineering, economics, and regulatory science to advance the sustainable development of low-carbon energy systems. His prolific research output, published in leading international journals, has garnered over 7,500 citations. A Chartered Engineer (CEng) from the UK and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) from Australia, Dr. Khan holds numerous prestigious fellowships from leading international engineering institutions, including the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), Engineers Australia (FIEAust), Engineers Ireland (FIEI) and the Pakistan Academy of Engineering (FPAE). His significant contributions to the field field have been recognized with several awards, including the Energy Engineer of the Year by the US Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in 2021. Furthering his impact on the field, Dr. Khan serves as an Associate Editor for several high-impact journals such as Process Safety and Environmental Protection, Energy Research and Social Science and Sustainable Futures, all published by Elsevier. His work continues to drive advancements in sustainable energy and environmental practices.
