Presenter: Dr Amina Batakarawa is currently an Associate Professor of Architecture at Baze University, Abuja, Nigeria. Among other roles, she is the co-founder of the Centre of Clean Energy and Climate Change (CLEANE) in Baze University; the Africa Representative for the World Renewable Energy
Network; and the Head of Data Support Services for the Sustainable Energy Practitioners Association of Nigeria. She serves as the Chair of the Gender and Energy sessions in the World Renewable Energy Congress. She is also a co-founder of Muslimah Foundation. She has a broad teaching and research skills especially in energy use in the built environment. Her goal is to learn, share knowledge and build capacity to solve problems in her community and sector.
