Biography

I am currently an Associate Professor of Architecture at Baze University, Abuja, Nigeria. Among other roles, I am the co-founder of the Centre of Clean Energy and Climate Change (CLEANE) in Baze University; the Africa Representative for the World Renewable Energy Network; and the Head of Data Support Services for the Sustainable Energy Practitioners Association of Nigeria. I serve as the Chair of the Gender and Energy sessions in the World Renewable Energy Congress. I am also a co-founder of Muslimah Foundation. I have broad teaching and research skills especially in energy use in the built environment. My goal is to learn, share knowledge and build capacity to solve problems in my community and sector.
